Awesome cabin vibes!
Room was solid for the price with a cozy cabin feel. The stairs to the second level were a bit sketchy, maybe no good after some drinks. The bathroom needed a little love, like some new caulking. Oh, and a picnic area outside was nice for chilling. Overall, a good deal if you're in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! The kids loved exploring the nearby hiking trails, especially the scenic routes with stunning mountain views. The lodge provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made our family feel right at home. Plus, the location was fantastic for getting to Banff.
My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities on-site.

comfortable stay with some room for improvement
The large bed provided a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. The indoor swimming pool looked inviting, but we were unable to use it during our stay. The location offered easy access to nearby activities, making it a convenient spot for our trip.
While the ambiance was mostly pleasant, the rain deterred us from enjoying the outdoor amenities.

The place was a mixed bag. on one hand, the location was convenient and the kitchenette had essential items, but the room felt dated with cleanliness issues. Broken appliances, rude staff behavior, and a generally lackluster atmosphere stood out negatively against an otherwise decent stay.

Cozy ambiance and scenic views
I had a lovely stay, especially enjoying the scenic views surrounding the hotel and the cozy ambiance near the firepit. The staff were very accommodating, which made my experience even better. However, the room could benefit from some updates, particularly with blackout curtains to block out the light.

The nearby Wild Orchid Bistro serves up mouthwatering sushi that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance, and the cozy picnic area is perfect for grabbing some takeout and basking in the mountain views. Plus, the comfy beds in my room made it easy to catch some z's after a day of exploring.
However, the headboard thumped against the wall with every toss and turn, and the crumbling tiles by the jacuzzi were a bit of an eyesore. A balanced breakfast from Tim Hortons would've been fab, but I was up all night thanks to the streetlights shining through the curtains.
